Study Tours to South Africa

Study Tour to South Africa February 2013 Two Study Tours to South Africa
South Africa is in many ways a unique society. It has magnificent sceneries, rich resources and its population represents a human, cultural and linguistic diversity. With the country's at times rather violent history and the new political development – from apartheid to the building of a young democracy – South Africa also has massive challenges and complex conflicts. Put in perspective this can make your own domestic problems seem very small. A visit to South Africa engages, fascinates and has a strong impact on most people.

For many years Youth Town has arranged study tours to South Africa, Ghana, Tanzania & Kenya, The Danish West Indies and the Middle East – Jordan, Syria & Lebanon.
Since 1998 the Youth Town has co-operated with the South African NGO – Extra Mural Education Project (EMEP) – in Cape Town. Together with Centre for Conflict Resolution (CCR) – both have in recent years been a regular part of the programme on our South African tour – each year in February.
