Citizenship - All Included
![]() |
”Citizenship – all included” is a course for classes 8 – 10, dealing with equality, inclusion and citizenship education. The course raises the participants' awareness of how the mechanisms of exclusion and inclusion work and gives them tools to handle situations and social patterns in an inclusive and appreciative manner. In a multicultural and pluralistic Denmark the term citizenship is well suited to motivate positively for fellowship – both in schools and society in general. Citizenship is based on the participation of everyone and everyone being given equal opportunities in all walks of society – without discrimination. |
Citizenship education can also been seen as a way of handling ”anti-citizenship”, where groups in schools and society choose destructive means of working against the society, which they don't see themselves as a part of and don't feel accepted into. |
