With six brand new courses we welcome you to yet another season in Youth Town. In all we offer 22 courses on topics like Conflict Management, Environment, Economy, Citizenship and Human Rights.

Another perhaps less noticed aspect of the activities in Youth Town is the development of teaching material and project management.

 

Examples of what Youth Town has developed

  • a physical and virtual citizenship house. In the virtual citizenship house there are a number of ideas and materials for citizenship education. If you are interested in working with citizenship, look into medborgerskabet.dk
  • a digital version of The Game of Chances – teaching material on the rights and conditions of children. All the material is for free use on Tilfaeldighedernes-spil.dk
  • The Ministry of Education's portal on the decade of education for sustainable development. If you are interested in working with sustainable development, you can get a lot of inspiration from Ubuportalen.dk

Furthermore, Youth Town is the national coordinator of UNESCO's Associated Schools. In Denmark about 30 primary – and secondary schools are part of the network. If you wish to strengthen the international dimension at your school, maybe it would be a good idea to become a UNESCO school? Unesco-asp.dk
